Clearview township is just west of Barrie, south of Collingwood, and south of Wasaga Beach. Because of its proximity to the Great Lakes, its soil is perfect for farming. A large portion of local employment is found in the fields of construction, agriculture, and manufacturing, and there are a greater number of jobs available in Clearview than there are on average throughout Ontario. Creemore Springs Brewery, a nationally renowned brewery, is located in the Clearview community of Creemore, while the licensed medical marijuana producer The Peace Naturals Project calls Clearview home as well. The area is served by several public schools and French Catholic schools. Collingwood Airport is located in Clearview, and such major throughways as Highway 26, Airport Road, and County Roads 7, 9, 10, and 91 run through the Township. For sports, Clearview is home to an enormous number of facilities, including Stayner Arena, Creemore Arena, three baseball parks, two golf courses, Devil's Glen Provincial Park, Carruther's Memorial ConservationArea, the Mel McKean Memorial Park, Gowan Memorial Park, Ives Park, Kinsmen Paricipark, and Legion Park. Since 1984, Clearview has also been home to the Great Northern Exhibition, a huge annual fair held in September since 1855. Families will find in Clearview a wealth of healthy stimulation amid a township that is well-established and fast-growing.
